When Wicked first hit the Broadway Theater scene, in October 2003, at the George Gershwin Theatre in New York City; It was the buzz of the town. Though the Show was nominated for a Tony Award in 2004, it lost to Avenue Q; but has since become a huge success and has created multiple Wicked traveling shows thoughout the country.
