The Bacon Brothers, will perform live at Borgata"s Music Box theater on Friday, June 11, 2004, at 9 p.m.
Successful film star, Kevin Bacon, and his brother, Michael Bacon, an Emmy award-winning musician, became a working band in 1995, but their performance on-stage reveals a unique chemistry decades in the making. The Bacon Brothers have been writing songs and playing music together since about the same time they were fighting over their childhood toys. With the release of three albums and 50 to 60 shows a year, The Bacon Brothers continue to garner fans as they prove they are a "raise your lighter and sing along" rock band. The brothers have also been known to render a performance of "Footloose" during one of their live shows.
The Bacon Brothers have released four CDs including Forosoco (1998), Getting There (2000), Can"t Complain (2002), and The Bacon Brothers Live (2003), a double-disc CD and single-disc companion DVD recorded at John Harms Center for the Arts in Englewood, New Jersey.
