Peter Frampton

In a career spanning more than 30 years, Peter Frampton has played everything from sentimental ballads to hard-hitting rock. His hits include "Baby, I Love Your Way," "Do You Feel Like We Do?" and "Show Me the Way." As guitarist for the band Humble Pie, Frampton recorded five albums. But it was when some of his tracks were recorded live and released on Frampton Comes Alive!, that Peter Frampton became a household name. The album stayed on top of the charts for 10 weeks and became one of the biggest-selling live albums in history. To date, it has sold more than 16 million copies.
Frampton continued to release albums on a semi-annual basis throughout the 1980's. He released Breaking All The Rules, Art Of Control and Premonition. In 1994, Peter released a self-titled album and once again hit the road to support it. Peter released another live album in 1995, Frampton Comes Alive II.
There have been many other recent projects including concerts to benefit the aid work in Bosnia, two tours with Ringo Starr's All-Starr Band, an appearance on VH-1's Hard Rock Live series, an appearance on the Simpsons as himself, writing music for and acting in the Cameron Crowe movie Almost Famous and a performance with the British Rock Symphony in New York.
