Solomon wrote, scored and stars in this one-man show that chronicles his experiences at home and the variety people he has met throughout his travels. "My Mother’s Italian, My Father’s Jewish, and I’m in Therapy," uses humor, music and Solomon’s repertoire of voices, dialects, and sound effects to bring to life each of his anecdotes.
Solomon has been performing for more than 20 years in comedy clubs throughout the country and in Europe, and has shared the stage with entertainment icons, including George Carlin, Pat Cooper, Kenny Rogers, Dionne Warwick, Connie Stevens, Marvin Hamlisch, and Betty Buckley.
Solomon began his career in the education system with his Ed.D in secondary education on Long Island. Solomon said of the switch, "I was sick and tired of the regular paychecks, the prestige and the educational glamour of an Administrator’s life so I decided to get on the road and make $30 a show."
