The punk rockers of Green Day come back to town late this summer. With more than a decade of pop-punk three-chord madness already under their belts, the Northern California natives have once again proved themselves with their September 2004 release 'American Idiot.' It's been a punk success with both new and old fans requesting "American Idiot" and "Boulevard of Broken Dreams" on every radio station across the country. The CD even earned the trio an honorary degree from MTVU. Of course the best part about their new album is the fact that they get to add even more catchy songs to an already awesome set list. "Basket Case," "Welcome to Paradise," and "Minority" are hits from their earlier days that eager fans can scream along with, dance to, and just rock out.
Joining Green Day is the emo band Jimmy Eat World who have had major success with their self-titled CD from 2001 and their newest hit-filled album 'Futures.'
