Stu Cook and Doug "Cosmo" Clifford, The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame rhythm section from Creedence Clearwater Revival, may not have intended it, but their band Creedence Clearwater Revisited has taken on a life of its own. Cook and Clifford launched the Revisited project in 1995 when they found a lead singer, John Tristao, with the energy to power the songs, and added talented multi-instrumentalist Steve Gunner.
Though initially planning to play private parties, Revisited is now performing up to 100 shows a year at venues such as the Greek Theater in Los Angeles and has announced the release of a double live album, RECOLLECTION. They also play across North America, Europe and Asia, performing the songs that are still repeatedly played on the radio and in films.
The group plays Creedence Clearwater Revival hits including "Who'll Stop the Rain," "Down on the Corner," "Bad Moon Rising," "Proud Mary," "Fortunate Son," and "Have You Ever Seen the Rain." These songs have become the anthem of a generation and are now revered by audiences of all ages.
