Carlos' latest project is a multi-part recording deal with Warner/Electra/Asylum's sub-label, Parallel Records, which has been put on the fast-track. Currently in post-production, WEA, the music industry's largest label, will simultaneously release an English and Spanish version of Mencia's debut CD, Just Laughs, this summer.
Carlos Mencia can currently be seen in 87 million living rooms nationwide with his television series, "Mind of Mencia" which was cable's highest-rated new comedy series this summer. Comedy Central has recently signed comedy's newest breakout star to a multifaceted deal which includes a nationwide concert tour, a one-hour stand-up special, a DVD release, broadband, mobile, iTunes downloads, Video-On-Demand and Pay-Per-View programming plus a second season of "Mind of Mencia."
