The Orlando Magic are an on again off again NBA Basketball Franchise. For some time they have appeared to be on the crest of greatness, followed by bouts of just average play. Not much should change as the Magic enter the 2005-2006 NBA Season after finishing up the 2004-2005 NBA Season with a 36-46 record.

The Magic put a lot of hope into who was supposed to be a super star, Grant Hill. Hill has been hampered with injuries for much of his professional career and as a result the Magic have never really reaped the rewards of this would be superstar. Steve Francis joined the team not too long ago, and Dwight Howard's improvement give hope and promise to a team that just can't seem to get over the proverbial hill.
