The New York Giants are looking for a tremendous rebound in the 2005 NFL season. Second year head coach Tom Coughlin brings a Giants team
into the 2005 campaign with a little big more experience in key positions. One position is quarterback, and Eli Manning, younger brother of superstar Peyton Manning, gets his chance to make a name for himself as he becomes the undisputed starter at the position. Manning should get a lot of help with the hands and speed of Plaxico Burress as the Giants try and open their game a little bit. Burress averages about 20 yards per reception. That kind of stat should also open up a running attack lead by NFL veteran Tiki Barber. Last season Barber accounted for almost 50% of the entire Giants offense.
The New York Giants will definitely be a team to watch out for, but they will have to contend with a very strong division in the NFC East. Look for the Giants to make strides this season, but there are still a lot of question
marks surrounding this squad.
