Movin' Out Tickets
In case the title sounded familiar, Movin' Out is a theater production created around the great songs of Billy Joel. Movin' Out is a story of six friends, told over two decades, and the turbulence, joy, sorry and fun their lives take them on as they move from youth to the unsure life of adults. The story starts off, but of course, with Brenda and Eddie the king and the queen of the prom of their High School are breaking up, their friend Tony is hoping to find love, Judy and Jim are getting ready for the big step of marriage. But life has it's own way of throwing a wrench in the works, as the Vietnam War takes all 3 men away. Just two return. Jim has been killed in combat.
As the story moves along, all the characters cope with loss, unfulfilled lives and the incapacity to change things for the better. But with any good story, each character learns to love again, they find that through their trials and tribulations they were able to find their way back home.
