Lion King Tickets
The Lion King the Musical is based upon Disney's hit movie by the same name, Lion King the Musical brings to life the characters of the movie. Enchanting, exciting and a quality production that is nothing less than what would be expected from a Disney production. The Lion King follows the life journey of the young lion prince Simba, as he starts off in the comfort of a son destined to take his place in the circle of life as the next reigning king of the Pride lands, but his scheming uncle Scar is incensed that his place in the line of succession and has plans of his own. With the help of the hyena's located beyond the Pride lands, Scar devises a plan to kill off his brother and king, Muffassa and to take control of the pride, and convinces young Simba that it his fault.
The story continues as Simba finds himself a young adult Lion where he meets his love interest Nala, and eventually understands that it his destiny to face his uncle Scar and take back the thrown that was rightfully his. The cast includes the same wonderful characters from the movie and because it's on the stage, the characters are live front and center.
The Lion King is critically acclaimed and has won numerous awards around the world. With the exception of some loud music and some ominous overtones, The Lion King is great for the entire family.
