Joe Cocker Tickets
With hit records in the 1960's, 70s, 80s, and 90s, Joe Cocker has carved out a niche for himself among music legends. He first hit number one in the U.K. in November 1968 with his version of the Beatles' "A Little Help From My Friends," and his career took off after he sang that song at the Woodstock festival in August 1969. In 1970, Cocker sold $3 million worth of records in America alone. His albums Cocker, Unchain My Heart and One Night of Sin, have all turned platinum.
His duet with Jennifer Warnes on "Up Where We Belong," the
theme from An Officer And A Gentleman, brought Cocker an appearance at the 1993 Oscars and a worldwide hit. Joe Cocker has also sung theme songs to movies including 9 1/2 Weeks, and Bull Durham. He has played many prestigious shows, including Nelson Mandela's Birthday Concert, and the inauguration ceremony for President George Bush. Cocker has been touring for more than twenty-five years and does not planning on stopping. "As long as being on stage is fun," says Joe, "as long as I enjoy that part and still get a buzz out of performing. Then I'll keep going out there." Euge Groove has topped the jazz charts since his self titled release Euge Groove hit the airwaves in 2000. His work appears on albums by Paula Abdul, Elton John and Tina Turner and he was also part of the horn section on the Huey Lewis and the News tour "Small World." Euge has played for Richard Marx, succeeding Dave Koz in the sax chair. Euge's first single "Vinyl," was the longest charting single on the Smooth Jazz chart with 27 weeks. His second CD, Play Date, was released in 2002 to rave reviews. His latest release Livin Large is a jazz masterpiece and features the hit "X X L."
