Fiddler on the Roof is a story set in a little village in Russia called Anatevka. The story tells of a simple village person who is a dairyman named Tevye who, with the backdrop of the eve of the Russian Revolution, attempts to hold on to the simple and wonderful things that mean much to him in life. This means trying to hold onto the little girls that are his daughters, as they are quickly growing up before his eyes. It's a tale of charm, humor and sadness.
