The Detroit Lions haven't posted a winning season since 2000. The Lions are trumpeting the song they've been since then, and that is that "This is Our Season". Detroit faithful might be able to believe it this season. Joey Harrington will still be the starting quarterback of the team, but if he fails to produce the Lions have veteran quarterback and recently acquired Jeff Garcia. Running back Kevin Jones should provide the Lions with a huge boost, as he was undeniably the best rookie running back of the NFL last season. Jones ran for over 100 yards in 4 of the last 7 games for the Lions. Wide out Roy Williams also had an outstanding rookie season and is expected to be more open this season with the additions of Mike Williams and Charles Rogers.

The Detroit Lions may be a sleeper that many do not expect to succeed this season, however, teams looking past the Lions would be very foolish.
