The Denver Nuggets finished up last year's NBA regular season with a 49-33 record. That's not bad for a team that started off the season in the crapper and was a huge disappointment for most Nuggets fans. The team then picked up George Karl and the winds of change came blowing into Denver. No one can be really sure what Karl did, but the Nuggets made a concerted run in the
second half of the season. The same is expected as the Nuggets enter the 2005-2006 NBA Season.
Young star Carmelo Anthony dramatically improved under George Karl's oversight. Anthony became a smarter player, a floor leader and good things happened for him and thus the team. The point guard spot is still under the
general Andre Miller, who brings control and consistency to an offense that can lose it's way during stretches. Strong man Kenyon Martin offers a lot of athleticism
at the power forward position and can be a very stingy defender. Add in veteran Marcus Camby, the tall and lean center, and the Nuggets are a team that most opponents should fear to play.
