The Atlanta Hawks are one of the more pathetic teams of the NBA. This is an organization that just can't get it together, and last seasons 2004-2005 NBA Season is all the proof any basketball fan needs to know why. The Hawks finished up their season with a 13-69 record and matters shouldn't improve this
season, as the 2005-2006 NBA Season goes. Hawks fans will put their hopes on a hopefully improved Josh Smith. Smith is athletic and can wow a crowd, but can he be an impetus to win games. The two guard slot will be filled by Josh Childress. Childress can be a terrific shooter at times, but he's inconsistent at best. Al Harrington is trying to find his groove and with that give some support to a
very weak front court. To further the Hawks plight they don't have a true big man in the paint to offer any presence. What can Hawks fans look forward to this season? You've got us, and we hope for their sake that the long slide to obscurity doesn't start to emulate and become the east coasts version of the Los Angeles
Clippers.
